The Porsche Driving Tour is the ROXMOTORS Signature line for those who would rather feel the road on four wheels: 10 days and around 1,900 km at the wheel of a Porsche, starting in Stuttgart — the brand’s home — and crossing Switzerland, Italy and Austria via the most legendary Alpine passes on the continent. Groups of no more than seven cars, luxury-category hotels, a support vehicle and dedicated curation from start to finish.

Legends of the Alps: a route built around driving

Every day is designed around the pleasure of driving: technical sections in the morning, scenic stops along the way and hand-picked accommodation in the late afternoon. Between passes there are stretches of derestricted autobahn, lunches beside Alpine lakes and towns that are destinations in themselves — St. Moritz, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Zell am See. Automotive performance, fine food and cinematic scenery in a single package.

The passes and highlights

• Susten, Furka and Nufenen — three of Switzerland’s most famous passes in one day; the Furka is the one from the classic Goldfinger chase;
• San Bernardino pass — at 2,065 m, wide curves to explore the car’s stability;
• Stelvio pass — considered one of the most demanding and beautiful roads on the planet;
• Gavia pass and the Dolomites — Sella, Gardena, Campolongo and Giau, through cinematic valleys;
• Grossglockner High Alpine Road — the monumental Austrian road that cuts through glaciers and snow-capped peaks;
• Zugspitze — the highest point in Germany, at almost 3,000 m;
• Neuschwanstein Castle — the castle that inspired Cinderella’s;
• Porsche museum and factory — a guided museum tour and a private factory tour in Stuttgart, plus Motorworld.

• Day 1 — Stuttgart, Germany: arrival, Motorworld, welcome dinner and briefing;
• Day 2 — Stuttgart › Zurich › Lucerne, Switzerland (300 km): the Porsche museum, car handover and autobahn;
• Day 3 — Lucerne › Brissago (270 km): Susten, Furka and Nufenen, finishing on Lake Maggiore;
• Day 4 — Brissago › St. Moritz (220 km): the San Bernardino pass;
• Day 5 — St. Moritz › Bormio, Italy (100 km): the day of the Stelvio pass;
• Day 6 — Bormio › Cortina d’Ampezzo (280 km): the Gavia pass and the Dolomites circuit;
• Day 7 — Cortina › Zell am See, Austria (180 km): Grossglockner High Alpine Road;
• Day 8 — Zell am See › Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany (224 km): up the Zugspitze;
• Day 9 — Garmisch-Partenkirchen › Stuttgart (270 km): Neuschwanstein, the Porsche factory and farewell dinner;
• Day 10 — Stuttgart: return transfers.

Get ready for the trip

An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended, and travel insurance is already included. Check your own country’s visa requirements for the Schengen Area, and make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months. About a month before the tour we open a WhatsApp group with the road book and tips on luggage, paperwork and currency.

• Do I need to bring my own car? No. The Porsche is included and waiting for you in Stuttgart.
• Can I bring a companion? Yes — the car is per vehicle, not per person, and the route is designed to be enjoyed as a pair.
• Can I choose the model? The base package is the 718, with upgrades to a 911 or Panamera. Ask about other models in the range.
• When is the best time to go? The great Alpine passes are open from late spring to autumn — which is why departures run between September and October.
