Motorcycle Tour of Andalusia
A motorcycle tour of Andalusia puts you on some of Spain’s best roads without changing hotel once. Over 6 days and around 1,280 km, the ROXMOTORS route uses Málaga as a fixed base and heads out in a different direction each morning: the legendary A-397 to Ronda, the Sierra de Grazalema, the Sierra Nevada and Granada, and Seville.
Fixed base, unpacked bag, roads every day
This is the shortest and most accessible European route in the ROXMOTORS portfolio — and an excellent way in for anyone who has never toured Europe by motorcycle. The fixed base in Málaga removes the daily packing and unpacking: you ride out in the morning through mountains, natural parks or historic cities, and come back to the same hotel at night. Mountains, open plains, natural parks, historic cities and coastline in less than a week.
What you will see in Andalusia
- The A-397 to Ronda — one of the most technical and rewarding roads in Andalusia, climbing from the Costa del Sol to the Puente Nuevo;
- Setenil de las Bodegas — the whitewashed village built beneath the rock, in the Serranía de Ronda;
- Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park — Zahara de la Sierra, the climb to the Puerto de las Palomas and the technical run to Villaluenga del Rosario;
- Granada and the Alhambra — the Nasrid palace at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, with time in the Albaicín quarter;
- Seville — the Cathedral, the Real Alcázar, the Barrio Santa Cruz and the Plaza de España in a full day;
- Málaga and the Costa del Sol — the Alcazaba, the old town and the seafront, as the base for the whole trip.

Getting ready
Most visitors need only a passport valid for at least six months to enter the Schengen Area for stays of up to 90 days — check the rules for your nationality. An International Driving Permit is recommended, and the mandatory travel insurance is already included. Because the route is short, many riders add a few days of their own in Málaga, Seville or Lisbon: our concierge arranges the extra hotels and flights. About a month before departure we open a WhatsApp group with the road book, packing tips, paperwork and currency guidance.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need my own motorcycle? No. The motorcycle is included and waiting for you at the start of the tour in Málaga.
- Is this a good first European motorcycle tour? It is the best in our portfolio for that: 6 days, a fixed base, 100% tarmac and the lowest investment of our European tours.
- Can I bring a pillion? Yes. The fixed base and moderate distances make this route especially comfortable for two.
- When is the best time to go? October, when the tour runs: the Andalusian summer heat has passed and the mountain roads are empty.
