Tuscany Motorcycle Tour
A motorcycle tour through Tuscany means riding slowly through one of the most beautiful settings in Italy: vine-covered hills, rows of cypress trees, medieval towns and back roads that look like a film set. Over 7 days and around 1,400 km, the ROXMOTORS route uses just two hotel bases — Florence and Pienza — to explore the heart of the region, from Chianti to the Val d’Orcia.
Italy at a slower pace, the ROXMOTORS way
Unlike the more technical character of the Alps, this trip is about stopping: tasting a Brunello di Montalcino, having lunch in a family trattoria and riding on without rushing. A premium selection of hotels and restaurants makes it ideal for couples and for riders who value food and culture as much as the road.

- Florence — an open-air museum, the start and finish of the tour;
- The wine road (SR222) — crossing the heart of Chianti to Siena, through Greve in Chianti and Panzano;
- Siena and San Gimignano — medieval towns recognised by UNESCO;
- Val d’Orcia — the classic Tuscan landscape of vineyards, hills and cypresses;
- Pienza — the tour’s second base, at the heart of the wine region.

- Day 1 — Florence, Italy: airport pick-up, group introduction, briefing and motorcycle handover;
- Day 2 — Florence: a day to explore the Tuscan capital — art, history and food;
- Following days: the wine road to Siena, San Gimignano and the Val d’Orcia, with tastings and food stops;
- Final leg: based in Pienza, riding the back roads hidden away in Tuscany;
- Last day: return to Florence, farewell dinner and airport transfers.

Get ready for the ride
An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended, and the mandatory travel insurance is already included in the package. Check your own country’s visa requirements for the Schengen Area, and make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months. About a month before the tour we open a WhatsApp group with the road book and tips on luggage, paperwork and currency.

- Do I need my own motorcycle? No. The bike is included and waiting for you at the start of the tour, in Florence.
- Can I bring a pillion passenger? Yes — the route was designed to work for riders and passengers alike, and it is a favourite among couples.
- When is the best time to go? Late spring and early autumn — pleasant temperatures, fewer tourists and Tuscany at its most colourful.
