ROADMAP
Day 1 - 16/01 - Arrival in Punta Arenas, CHL
A day to arrive in the most important city in southern Chile. Known for its strong port trade and duty-free zone — perfect for some shopping. With several daily flights from Santiago (the capital), getting here is easy and accessible. On this day, we’ll have the transfer and a welcome dinner! Welcome to Patagonia!
Day 2 - 17/01 - Punta Arenas, CHL >> Ushuaia, ARG | 630 km
Let’s kick things off by heading to the southernmost point on the planet! Today is the day we cross the Strait of Magellan on a short and scenic ferry ride to reach Tierra del Fuego. The long drive is marked by untouched nature, wide open fields, and landscapes very different from what we’re used to in Brazil. Expect temperatures around 10°C. We’ll arrive in the late afternoon, excited and ready to take the traditional photo at the city entrance! You’ve made it to Ushuaia!
Day 3 - 18/01 - Ushuaia, ARG: free day
After a long day, we’ll have a free day to explore the attractions of this charming city. Our suggestion is a morning boat tour to see penguins and sea lions. We also have a list of exciting options for the afternoon!
Day 4 - 19/01 - Ushuaia, ARG > Cerro Sombrero, CHL | 450 km
Before leaving the city, we’ll spend the morning visiting a few more highlights of the “End of the World.” Ushuaia: check! Time to head north! After a few hours on the road, we’ll arrive in Cerro Sombrero, Chile, just before crossing the Strait of Magellan. The goal today is to enjoy Ushuaia as much as possible and then have a restful overnight stay.
Day 5 - 20/01 - Cerro Sombrero, CHL > El Calafate, ARG | 470 km
Let’s head west! We’ll drive toward the famous Ruta 40, on our way to one of the most important cities in southern Patagonia: El Calafate. This region is quite remote and known for strong winds, but for us Brazilians, it’s always a new and unforgettable experience—plus, the road offers truly unique scenery. We’ll arrive in El Calafate and stay at a hotel right in the city center, perfect for enjoying the charming downtown area!
Day 6 - 21/01 - El Calafate, ARG - free day
On this day, we’ll wake up early to visit the most famous spot in the region: the Perito Moreno Glacier. An incredible place that will stay in your memory forever. The motorcycle tour lasts approximately 3 hours. For those who prefer, there are other glaciers to visit and plenty of attractions to enjoy throughout the day.
Day 7 - 22/01 - El Calafate, ARG > Cerro Castillo, CHL | 213 km
Time to head back to Chile. We’ll travel south to the town of Cerro Castillo. This simple “village” is very close to Torres del Paine National Park, which is considered by tourism publications—and by those who have been there—to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. We’ll have a few hours in the afternoon to explore this stunning region by motorcycle!
Day 8 - 23/01 - Cerro Castillo, CHL > Los Andes, CHL | 85 km
A day to wake up early and explore this earthly paradise in depth. We’ll ride through the park by motorcycle or, for those who prefer, there’s the option to venture on foot, visiting glaciers and more. A beautiful day that will fill your phone’s memory card. In the late afternoon, we’ll head to a charming hotel for a lovely dinner and a restful night’s sleep!
Day 9 - 24/01 - Los Andes, CHL > Punta Arenas, CHL | 216 km
After an intense week, we’ll wake up without rush on this day, enjoy a stunning view, a heated pool, or simply relax. After lunch, we’ll head out for our last motorcycle ride back to the city where it all began.
Day 10 - 25/01 - Punta Arenas, CHL
Departure day (or an extension day)! We’ll arrange transfers to the airport, while extending an invitation to explore other beautiful regions of our continent with ROX!
