Day 1 – August 7 (Friday): Milan, Italy
Arrival in Milan. All guests will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel, where we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about the journey ahead. Milan needs no introduction, and it’s well worth arriving a few days early to explore Italy’s fashion capital.
Day 2 – August 8 (Saturday): Milan, Italy > Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France | 293 km
After breakfast, we head toward France, crossing the Aosta Valley and entering through an 11 km tunnel. Upon arrival in Chamonix, the afternoon will be free to enjoy everything the town has to offer.
Day 3 – August 9 (Sunday): Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France – Free Day
A day to recharge and explore Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. Optional activities include paragliding, relaxing, or enjoying a scenic ride through the surrounding alpine passes.
Day 4 – August 10 (Monday): Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France > Lucerne Region, Switzerland | 290 km
We enter Switzerland through beautiful mountain passes. Lunch will be served on Lake Geneva aboard a charming historic boat, with views of Montreux and Vevey. After visiting the Gruyère cheese factory, we continue toward small towns around Lucerne, passing through the famous Interlaken.
Day 5 – August 11 (Tuesday): Lucerne Region, Switzerland > Brissago, Switzerland | 115 km
A day filled with iconic mountain passes! Departing from Lucerne, we ride the Susten Pass, with a coffee stop in Andermatt, before tackling the Furka Pass (featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger) and the Nufenen Pass. Overnight near Lake Maggiore, on the border with Italy.
Day 6 – August 12 (Wednesday): Brissago, Switzerland > St. Moritz, Switzerland | 250 km
We cross the stunning San Bernardino and Albula passes, enjoying one of the most thrilling riding days. In St. Moritz, famous for its winter season, we make a strategic stop before continuing toward Italy.
Day 7 – August 13 (Thursday): St. Moritz, Switzerland > Riva del Garda, Italy | 306 km
Today we visit some of the tour’s highlights: the Swiss National Park and Stelvio National Park, home to the legendary Stelvio Pass. We’ll also ride the challenging Gavia Pass. By the end of the day, we arrive at Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. A long and demanding day, rewarded by a relaxing day ahead.
Day 8 – August 14 (Friday): Riva del Garda, Italy – Free Day
A day to relax and explore the beauty around Lake Garda. We’ll have lunch in Sirmione and ride along Strada della Forra, considered one of the most scenic roads in the world.
Day 9 – August 15 (Saturday): Riva del Garda, Italy > Milan, Italy | 165 km
Final riding day! We return to Milan in the afternoon after a beautiful ride through the Garda region. We’ll wrap up the journey with our final dinner together in Italy.
Day 10 – August 16 (Sunday): Milan, Italy
Transfer to the airport and farewell to this incredible tour, filled with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and anticipation for the next adventure.
ALPES EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
- Lake Maggiore
One of the main alpine lakes and the second largest in Italy, Lake Maggiore covers 212 km², with 80% located in Italy. With depths reaching up to 370 meters, it offers a majestic and mysterious landscape. Its blend of natural beauty and historical charm makes it a must-visit destination. - Furka Pass
Located in Switzerland at 2,431 meters, Furka Pass offers a challenging route full of curves. It’s famous not only for its beauty but also for its appearance in a classic James Bond scene in Goldfinger. - Nufenen Pass
At 2,478 meters, Nufenen Pass is the second highest paved road in Switzerland, featuring 30 km of climbs and descents. Even in summer, snow at higher elevations creates a magical setting. A cozy café stop with croissant and cappuccino completes the experience. - San Bernardino Pass
At 2,065 meters, this pass connects Switzerland and Italy through a 63 km route filled with tunnels and viaducts. It links the Mesolcina and Hinterrhein valleys and passes near the source of the Rhine River. Sharp curves, waterfalls, and streams create a dramatic and unforgettable landscape. - Susten Pass
Opened in 1945, Susten Pass connects Innertkirchen to Wassen over 45 km. At 2,224 meters, it features challenging curves and breathtaking scenery. The view of the Stein Glacier is a highlight, and a 300-meter tunnel crosses the pass. - Chamonix – Mont Blanc
Located in France, Chamonix is a charming town set in a valley at the foot of Mont Blanc. Surrounded by dramatic peaks like the Aiguilles Rouges, it offers cable car rides with panoramic views, scenic walks, and outstanding gastronomy. - Stelvio National Park & Pass
Founded in 1935, Stelvio National Park is Italy’s largest national park and home to the famous Stelvio Pass. At 2,757 meters, the pass features 60 tight hairpin turns and breathtaking scenery. It connects Valtellina, Merano, and Bolzano, and holds historical significance, especially from World War I. - Lake Garda
Italy’s largest lake, covering approximately 370 km² across Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige. Located 65 meters above sea level, it reaches depths of up to 346 meters. Lake Garda is synonymous with stunning landscapes, exceptional cuisine, and local wines. - St. Moritz
Located in the Engadin region of Switzerland, St. Moritz is famous for its sunny winter days and has attracted visitors since 1864. With its fairytale-like scenery, elegant architecture, and refined atmosphere, it draws celebrities and royalty alike. The city is also known for its excellent gastronomy and traditional pastry shops.
